Martha Garrott, daughter of S. Dillow, died 22 Feb 1895, at her home three miles northwest of Dongola, aged 50 years, 10 months, 24 days, and was buried in Union Cemetery. She was born 28 Mar 1844, and married on 18 Sep 1862, Tilman H. Davis, who died a few years later. She married 10 Dec 1867, N.T. Garrott. She joined the Methodist Church in 1860 at Union School and when it disbanded she joined St. John's Lutheran Church. She left a husband, seven children, brothers, and sisters. (Another correspondent stated she had eight children, six of whom were living.)
