Sarah Elizabeth was the first child of William and Elizabeth Comstock. On November 5, 1862, she married Jacob Priode in Meigs County, Ohio. Jacob was born in Baveria and had come to the USA with his parents and siblings as a young child, settling near the Comstocks in Sutton Township by 1850.
Some time after 1880, the couple moved their family to Virginia. The 1900 US Census shows them living in Lipps, Wise County. In 1910, she was living in Dickenson, Clintwood, VA.
