MINNIE NEUMANN

Mrs. Rudolph F. Neumann, 61, R. 1, New Holstein, died Wednesday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan. She had been a patient there for the last four weeks.
Mrs. Neumann was born Minnie Diefenthaler, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Hartman) Diefenthaler, in the Town of Rhine. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in the Town of Rhine and attended district school there.
She married Rudolph Neumann at Elkhart Lake on Dec. 14, 1929. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Rhine until 1950, when they moved to their present farm in the Town of New Holstein.
Mrs. Neumann was an active member of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Kiel.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Allen Jeanette Wangemann; two sisters, Mrs. William Schmahl, Route 1, Elkhart Lake, and Mrs. William Storev of Milwaukee; a brother, William Diefenthaler of Appleton; and a granddaughter, Lori Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Kiel, with the Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg, pastor, officiating.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel from 3 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday, and at the church from 12 noon until time of services.Burial will be at Eaton Cemetery.
