Edwin Henry Rautmann

Edwin Henry Rautmann, age 79, of 20522 Ucker Point Creek Rd., Kiel, died Thursday afternoon, shortly after being admitted to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

He was born August 24, 1908 in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Julius and Louise Wilke Rautmann. He attended schools in the Town of Meeme. He married Ethel Ninmer, on October 15, 1932 at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Town of Schleswig. He farmed in the Town of Schleswig most of his life, retiring in 1977. He belonged to Bethlehem United Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lowell and Connie, Monroe, WI, Robert and Karen, Manitowoc, WI, four grandchildren, one brother, Armie Rautmann, Town of Meeme, one sister Mrs. Alga Voss, Millhome. He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday at Bethlehem United Church of Christ, Town of Schleswig, with Rev. James Sizelove, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. Friends may call at Meizelwitz Funeral Home, Kiel from 4 to 9 p.m., Sunday, and at the church from 9 a.m.,Monday, until the time of services. A memorial fund has been established for Bethlehem United Church of Christ.
