FRANCIS REISTERER

Francis (Shorty) Riesterer, 60, of Steinthal Road, Kiel, died July 28, at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, after a brief illness.
He was born November 6, 1926, in St. Nazianz, son of Anton and the late Mary (Fessler) Riesterer. He attended St. Gregory Catholic School in St. Nazianz. On September 27, 1947 he married Juanita Koenig at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. Mr. Riesterer was service manager at Stoelting Inc., Kiel for 32 years, retiring in 1984. He was a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
Survivors are his wife; his father, Anton, of rural Kiel; two sons, Mark and Glen of Rural Kiel; two daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Lori) Woelfel of rural Kiel, and Lynn at home; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Matthew of School Hill, Wilfred of Collins, Alois of Rural Newton, Anthony of Rural Manitowoc; and four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Katherine) Halfmann of Kiel, Mrs. Leo (Magdeline) Steffen of St. Nazianz, Mrs. Elroy (Rosemary) Miller of rural Kiel, and Mrs. Wayne (Mary Ann) Repenshek of Sheboygan.
A funeral Mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. Thomas Leannah, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Eaton Cemetery.
