Heinrich is the son of Detlef Roeh and Margarethe Henrichsen.

He had a sister Cecilia Roeh Greve another sister Anna Roeh Johimsen and a brother Detlef Roeh that are buried in New Holstein.

1. Nov. 12, 1852 – The US Government sells to Asmas Clausen the 40 acres of the SE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 1, Town of New Holstein, Calumet County for $1.25 per acre, which comes to $50.00. (Original Land Entries and Q-571)

2. Sept. 7, 1855 – Asmas Clausen (a resident of Cook County, Illinois) sells these 40 acres to Henry Roeh and his wife Christine Harder of Calumet County for $100.00. On June 13, 1856, Henry purchased the 80 acres of the E1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 6, Town of Schleswig and created a farmstead at 24106 Charlesburg Road. (P-335)

3. March 19, 1862 – Henry and Christine Roeh (residents of 24106 Charlesburg Road in the Town of Schleswig) sell these 40 acres to Henry's brother Detlof Roeh and his first wife Doris Harder of Calumet County for $100.00. Doris was a sister to Henry's wife Christine Roeh. It was a case of two brothers married to two sisters. (Q-572)
