Herman Schmeckert, a former resident of New Holstein, died Wednesday
at his home in Minneapolis, Minn.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ida Tagge, and a daughter, Ruth.
Funeral services will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Homes, New
Holstein, at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Charles A. Koch, pastor
of St. John's United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in
Town of Eden (Manitowoc County) Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
