ERNST WESTPHALEN

Funeral services for Ernst Westphalen, 77, of R. 1, Kiel, who died early Sunday at the Manitowoc County Hospital, will be held Tuesday at Bethlehem United Church of Christ in the Town of Schleswig.
The Rev. Carl Fried, pastor, will officiate at the 2 p.m. service.
Burial will be in the Eaton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Tuesday and at the church from noon until the hour of services.
Born Dec. 9, 1890 in the Town of Eaton, he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Amelia Lechler Westphalen. On Oct. 21, 1913, he married the former Ellen Bratz of the Town of Schleswig.
The couple lived on a farm in the Town of Eaton since their marriage. Mrs. Westphalen died in August, 1954.
He was a member of Bethlehem UCC in Schleswig.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Ninmer of Kiel, Mrs. Herman Buchholz of R. 1, Kiel, and Mrs. Edgar Roehl of Sheboygan. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
