B.C. as Breeder of Prize Stock.
CHILLIWACK, Aug. 24--George G. Banford, 57, who for many years was associated with his brother, William Banford, in the pure-bred stock-raising business, died here. The brothers are well known throughout British Columbia as winners of exhibition awards in Guernsey cattle, sheep and hogs.
Mr. Banford was born in Sacramento, Cal., his father, the late George Banford, coming to Chilliwack two years later. Three brothers and a sister survive, Robert J. and William of Chilliwack, and John and Mrs. William Bromley of Sumas, Wash.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. R. E. W. Biddell of Sardis, interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
