OBITUARY :
ROSA ALICE HALTERMAN, 91, of Braymer, died March 31, 1992, at Golden Age Nursing Home.
Mrs. Halterman was born Sept. 11, 1900, in Millville to John and Sarah (Strawderman) Moyer.
She married Dawson Halterman in March 1935 in Rayville. He died in Febuary 1969.
Mrs. Halterman was a homemaker. Mr. and Mrs. Halterman had been farmers in the Braymer community for many years.
She was a member of the McBee Chapel United Methodist Church near Braymer and the Pleasant Hill Lions Extension Club of Braymer.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Asher of Braymer; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be throughout the day Thursday. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the McBee Chapel United Methodist Church of Braymer.
