Funeral services for Ocie Everett Skaggs, 67, of Eufaula, have been scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Raymond Shann officiating.
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 18, 1923, he was the son of Odie and Mary (Keemon) Skaggs. He was reared and educated in Okemah, Oklahoma. Mr. Skaggs served in the United States Navy during World War II. After his discharge, he was a rancher for several years and was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church.
Family survivors include his wife, Edna of the home; four sons, Dwane and Lewafton both of Muskogee, Gregary of Tahlequah and Dusty of the home; two daughters, Helen Bohlman of San Diego, California and Mary Ann Merrill of Muskogee; his mother, Mary Skaggs of Arizona; two sisters, Betty and Louise both of Phoenix, Arizona; five brothers, Odie, Arthur, Billy Joe, Skeeter and James all of Arizona; numerous grandchildren great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family has entrusted Bradley Funeral Service with the arrangements.
