He was a son of the late Felix James and Clara Farris Mize, retired factory and timber rock quary employee, and was preceded in death by one daughter, Alice Ann Richardson, one son, Earl Mize, two sisters, Novella and Mildred, and one brother, Lafayette Mize.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gracie Leoma Holt Mize; three daughters, Shirley Davis and Wanda Richardson, both of Lamar,AR. and Eula Dobbs of Fayetteville, Ar.; six sons, Gary Mize, Thomas Mize, Vernon Mize, and Myrl Mize, all of Lamar,AR. James Mize of Knoxville,AR. and Larry Mize of Ozark, AR.; 24 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
