Kenneth F. Givens Jr., was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 21, 1962, the son of Kenneth Filmore and Rose Virginia (nee Tenuta) Givens Sr. Ken served in the United States Naval Reserves and graduated from Herzing School of Electronics in Madison, Wisconsin. He married Deborah Lynn D'Antoni on October 3, 1987, in Madison. Ken operated K & D Thermal Services, an industrial controls company. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He died at the age of 48 on May 10, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; three children: Lauren, Jared, and Jenna, all at home; his mother, Rose Givens of Tucson, AZ; sister, Sharon and her husband, Jan; foster sister, Cheryl Wilde of Kenosha; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Memorial services May 15, 2010, at the Schneider Apfel Schneider and Schneider Funeral Home with Greg Addie officiating.
