Erma Ann Weaver, 82, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on May 8, 2010 in her home at the Residence of Grand Mesa Assisted Living.
Erma was born October 4, 1927 in Midvale, Utah to Edmund Earl and Beatrice May Osborne Jenkins.
She married Lloyd Lonnie Weaver on June 8, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Erma lived in Utah until her husband's death in 1987, then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, music, reading, and her dog, Princess.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lou Strecker and husband, Karl, and Ruth Ann Covert, both of Grand Junction, CO; her twin sister, Leona Mayfield, of West Jordan, Ut; sister, Edna King and husband, Deeof Layton, Ut; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Lloyd Junior Weaver; brothers, Charles Reid, Albert Jenkins and Wayne Jenkins; sister, Stella Reid Milburn; and great-grandson, Lonnie Carl Colvert.
Funeral Services will be held on May 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services.
