MARRIED - The marriage of Miss Maggie Griffiths of Sunshine and Mr. James Burch of Hygiene was celebrated last Wednesday evening in Boulder. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Griffiths, leading citizens of Sunshine. Mr. Burch is one of our enterprising young men and is interested with his father in cattle growing quite extensively.

The newly wedded pair were given a reception Christmas evening at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. [Mollie Mary] Kelly.

Mr. and Mrs. Burch will at once commence housekeeping in Hygiene where he has a cottage already furnished. They have the good wishes of your correspondent for a long and happy life.

DIED - James A. Burch, aged 51 years, retired miner, died at the family residence, 1126 First Avenue, at 10:30 o'clock this morning, from heart disease.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter. The sons are: Frank, 22; Richard, 19; Lester, 12. The daughter is Dorothy, 14. All live at the residence.

The deceased and members of his family came to Boulder fifteen years ago from Sunshine, where he had been employed as a miner for a number of years. At the time of his death he held a number of mining properties in that section.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Howe mortuary Monday at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Columbia cemetery.
