OBITUARY: LEAD BELT NEWS, March 1, 1935

Franklin Alexander Sago, son of Louis and Temperence (Bannister Deloney) Sago, was born near Desloge, MO, March 8, 1856, and has resided in St. Francois County all his life. On March 8th, 1888, he was married to Ellen Rosann Green and to this union were born five children.

He departed this life February 22, 1935, at his home in Bismarck, at the age of 78 years, 11 months and 15 days. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rosa Sago of Bismarck and three daughters and two sons; Mrs. Alice Rickman of Bismarck, Wm. Sago of Black, MO, Mrs. Mary Cheney of South Gate, California, Morris Ago of Barnhardt, MO, Mrs. Dorothy Pettyjohn of St. Louis, also sixteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Sago was the youngest child of his parent's family and the last to die.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 24 at 9:30 o'clock at the Assembly of God Church in Bismarck, conducted by Rev. H. E. Jenkins, the pastor. Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery.
