Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend, Helen Adams Secrist, returned home on May 12, 2010 following a brief illness.

Helen was born March 6, 1932 in Cleveland, Idaho to Bishop J. Vernon and Seleta Allen Adams. Vivacious and fun loving by nature, she brought joy to all.

She married Ted B. Secrist in the Logan Temple on March 17, 1952. Together they raised two children, Scott and Debbie Secrist. Helen trained as a nurse and worked as the manager of Primary Children's Cranial Facial Department for twenty-eight years. She was active in the LDS Church and with Ted served a mission to Kirkland, Ohio from 1996 1997.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Paul, LuWana, Grant, Virginia and Alice Adams. She is survived by her spouse, children, and grandchildren, Ashley (Jacob) Nielsen and Austin Lewis, and her sister Joan Adams Thompson (Glen).

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the Orchard Third Ward Chapel, 261 East Center Street, North Salt Lake. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment-Lakeview Memorial Estates Cemetery.
