CORPS RIDES ENGINE PILOT.
HOWELL, Mich., Nov. 13.--Standing upright, propped against the end of the boiler, the body of Albert Latson, a farmer, who lived about four miles east of here, was carried half a mile beyond the crossing where he was struck and killed, upon the pilot of a fast passenger train on the Ann Arbor road. Latson had been to town on a load of lumber and was crossing the track on his way home.
