Daughter of John Christian and Mary Christine Jung. She married Herman Hoff. They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas. Their children were Mamie, Minnie and Bernard Hoff. She also reared John R. Chenault and Margie Woods.
Her other children were Max died July 31, 1878 (age 19 days) and Herman who died April 13, 1880 (aged 7 months).

Family lore about her is that she recalled seeing the Union troops march into Little Rock. She later played in the abandoned trenches left by the armies.
