She united in marriage to Rev. John L. Bloyd November 10, 1904, who preceded her in death in September, 1949. To this union were born two sons and two daughters: Grady E. Bloyd and Elmer W. Bloyd, both of Fairdale, Kentucky; Mrs. Vanda Simpson, Louisville, Phyllis Bloyd preceded her mother in death. Mrs. Bloyd is also survived by one brother and one sister: Tommy Nelson, Buffalo and Mrs. Hattie Milby, Elizabethtown and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains were at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 1975 with burial in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Revs. James L. Smith and Kenneth Bloyd officiating. Pallbearers were Jimmy Jenkins, Danny Bloyd, Dan Frailly, Curtis Mendedoht, Dennis Wright, and Allen Coffey.
