MRS. WEBER HAS
PASSED AWAY

Death at 9:30 Tuesday morning clamed Mrs. Rose Horton Weber, wife of Stephen A. Weber, circulation editor of the Hamilton Evening Journal. The end of life for Mrs. Weber came with a suddenness that but added to the deep sorrow which it has occasioned among her friends and especially the widower whose devotion to her was one of unusual faithfulness.

Mrs. Weber had not been in good health for several months. She suffered from a complication of liver and kidney trouble and yesterday it was decided she should go to Mercy hospital to undergo an operation. She went to the hospital and preparations were being made for the operation by which it was hoped to restore her to health when she passed away.

Mrs. Weber was born in Pontiac, Mich., November 21, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Horton. She was educated at Ann Arbor, Mich., and spent her girlhood days in Pontiac and Flint, Mich., coming to Hamilton twelve years ago. She was united in marriage with Stephen Weber May 5, 1915, and lived with him in a pretty home at 329 Chest[nut] street.

Mrs. Weber is survived by the widower, one son, Donald Cahoon, a sister, Mrs. O. J. Weseman of Pratt, Kan., and a brother, Carl Horton of East St. Louis, Ill.

Mrs. Weber was a member of the Methodist church of Pontiac, Mich., and during her residence in Hamilton made a host of friends who admired her kindly disposition, her geniality and her spirit of gentleness. To the widower is especially extended the sympathy of a large circle of friends in the severe loss which he has sustained in the passing of one in whom he had centered his every interest and whose home life she had made so ideal.
