Samuel Lawrence is buried in the Lawrence Family Plot (#2214) at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge, MA. He was the son of Capt. Amos Lawrence.He married Suzanna Parker July 22, 1777 and they had 9 children. He fought & was wounded in the Battle of Bunker Hill and was at one time the adjutant under General John Sullivan in Rhode Island (1778). He was also called "the Arch Duke" of the Boston Brahmins "also called The First Families of Boston". Samuel and Suzanna were married for 50 years....Samuel died at the age of 73 on April 8, 1827 and Suzanna ( born October 10, 1755 in Groton, MA) died at the age of 89 on May 2, 1845.
To find the Family plot, travel down Central Ave. from the front gate and not too far down, it can be found on the right side.
