French (possible Frank French Smith, I still could not find him) I was told by my grandmother that he died when Louisa was abt 2 or 3 yrs old, only child. Maria never remarried and she had been lived with daughter Louisa & her family for years.After M.A. remarried 2nd wife & Maria moved to Ontario, lived there till her death.
