Bessie was the youngest of three siblings born to the family of Isaac Newton & Margaret (Wolf) Taylor. Her brother was George (17 Aug 1886-21 Jan 1903) & sister Etta G. Flesser (23 Mar 1885-Sep 1984). Bessie was the telephone operator for the Home Telephone Co. in Ossian, Indiana where she lived. She was married to Fred C. Bailey for 56 years.
