Mrs. Helena Reichardt, 91, widow of the late George Reichardt Sr., died Saturday evening at the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, farm home of her son, George Jr.
The former Helena Hungsberg, she was born in Schleswig, March 2, 1863, a daughter of the late Bernhard and Emily Zorn Hungsberg.
On Dec. 17, 1885 she was married to Mr. Reichardt. The couple farmed the Hungsberg homestead in Schleswig, Mrs. Reichardt's lifetime home. Her husband died in April, 1918.
Surviving, in addition to the son George Jr., are three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Norbert, another son and daughter in infancy, four brothers and one sister.
Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. William Hartwig, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, this evening and until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be taken to the Louis Corners church to lie in state until the time of services.
