GEORGE HENRY JACOB REICHARDT
George H. Reichardt, 82, of 621 St. Paul Street, Kiel, died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, where he had been a patient four days.
He was born May 19, 1893 in the Town of Schleswig, a son of George and Helena Hungsberg Reichardt. He attended the district school.
On September 2, 1914 he married Erna Mueller at Zion Lutheran church, Louis Corners. The couple operated the Reichardt home farm in Schleswig.
They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1964.
After Mrs. Reichardt died on April 20, 1974, he moved to Kiel. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a former treasurer of the church.
Survivors include two sons, Norman, Route 2, Kiel; and Lyle, Kiel; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, the Reverend Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Reichardt's name for Zion Lutheran Church.
