Mrs. George Reichardt, 79, Route 2, Kiel, died Saturday afternoon at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. She had been a patient there two weeks.The former Erna Mueller, she was born January 15, 1895 in the Town of Schleswig a daughter of the late Rudolph and Mary Easling Mueller. She attended district schools in Schleswig.
On September 2, 1914, she was married to Mr. Reichardt in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church at Louis Corners.
After marriage the couple farmed the Reichardt homestead in Schleswig.They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September, 1964.
She was a member of Zion Church, its Ladies Aid Society and a former member of the church choir.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Norman of Route 2, Kiel and Lyle of Kiel; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Wanda Maurer of Kiel, Mrs. Ella Koeser of Sheboygan, Mrs. Esther Mattes of Kiel, Mrs. Dora Nanz of Cascade and Mrs. Wilma Kenneke of Kiel; two brothers, Arno of Sheboygan and Hubert of Green Bay, and a step-brother, Elmer Lindemann of Antigo.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Zion Church, Louis Corners. The Reverend Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established for Zion Church in Mrs. Reichardt's
name.
