Frederick J. Roeseler Sr. 83, of 11508 Schad Road, Kiel, died Wednesday morning, September 8, 1993 at Willowdale Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where he resided the last seven weeks.
He was born January 14, 1910 in Kiel, son of the late Frederick J. and Wilhelmina Schnell Roeseler. On April 6, 1940 he married Erna Wagner. He farmed in the Town of Eaton for a number of years and then worked at the Kohler Co. for 21 years. He retired in 1975. His wife, Erna preceded him in death on June 22, 1971. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners.
Survivors include two sons, Allan, at home; Frederick Jr. (Judy) Kiel; one daughter, Marlene Roeseler and husband, Galen Frysinger, Sheboygan, two grandsons, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman.
Funeral services will be at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, with the Rev. James Bartz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
