Harold Rumpf, 64, of R. 1, Kiel, a retired Town of Meeme farmer, died early Monday evening at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital where he was admitted two hours prior to his death.
Born May 8, 1903, in the Town of Meeme, he was a son of the late William and Augusta Rumpf. He attended Mineral Springs School in the Town of Meeme and operated the Rumpf homestead farm most of his life.
He was never married.Mr. Rumpf was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, where he was baptized and confirmed.
Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Alvina Wengel, Mrs. Alfred Schuricht and Mrs. Henry Hansmann, all of Sheboygan, Mrs. Carl Eisenhardt of Rochester, Mich., and Mrs. Herman Eisenhardt of Sheboygan Falls, and two brothers, Oscar of R. 1, Kiel, and Louis of Wyocena, Wis.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church at Louis Corners, with the Rev. Adalbert Schultz, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until the hour of services.
