Miss Dorothea Schumacher (sic) died last Sunday afternoon at the home of her nephew Rudolph Thieleke, where she had made her home during the last two years, after a lingering illness of diabetes.
Decedent was born in Biblis, Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany, September 29, 1848, coming to America in 1866 with her parents, who settled in the town of Meeme. She was unmarried.
Two brothers, Simon Schumacher of Howards Grove and Carl of Sheboygan, and one sister, Mrs. Julius Thieleke of Meeme, survive her.
The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from the church at Louis Corners, Rev. Witte officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
