LOUIS OTTO JOHN SONNEMANN

Louis O. Sonnemann, 73, well-known town of Meeme farmer, passed away Tuesday afternoon at St. Nicholas hospital following an operation.

The deceased was born in the town of Holland on May 17, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Sonnemann.

While still a small boy he moved with his parents to the town of Meeme where he has spent most of his life.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. John Gatzke of Plymouth, and Mrs. Max Boettcher of Town Meeme, with whom he had made his home in recent years; and one brother, William, of Colby, Wis.

Besides his parents, two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran church at Louis Corners. The Rev. William Hartwig will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, from 1 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday, and at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Mr. Sonnemann was born in Sheboygan County in 1876 and when he was a young man the family moved to Meeme. He had been making his home with his sister, Mrs. Matt Boettcher. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. John Gatzke and a brother, William, of Colby. Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
