On Friday at the home of her son, Rudolph in Louis Corners, Mrs. Auguste Wilhelmine Sternbeck a long time resident of Town Schleswig died. She died following a six month illness of liver cancer.
The deceased was born on January 17, 1835 in Pomerania, Germany and came to America with her parents at age 20 years old. She was married twice. Her first marriage was with Mr. Mueller and they were blessed with several children. A long time after his death, she married Mr. Johann Sternbeck and the family moved to a farm in town Schleswig. Her second husband died about 20 years ago.
From the second marriage she is survived by two sons, and one daughter, namely; Rudolph and August from here and Mrs. Strassmann from Sturgeon Bay. The burial took place Sunday afternoon at the cemetery at Louis Corners with Pastor Witte officiating.
