ALFRED H. TRUTTSCHEL

Alfred H. Truttschel, 83, of 29 E. Paine St., Kiel, died Saturday, March 4, 1995 at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein, following a courageous battle with Aplastic Anemia.

He was born April 6, 1911 in the Town of Mosel, son of the late August and Anna Moehring Truttschel. He attended Haven Grade School.

On Dec. 10, 1932 he married Gertrude Voight at Cleveland. The couple farmed in the Town of Meeme and he also worked at Lake to Lake in Kiel for 23 years, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners, the Men's Club, Church Cemetery Board and the Church Board.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; two sons, Jerry (Carol), Kiel, Allan (Karen), Kiel; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann (Herschel) Ramaker, Paris, Tenn., Mrs. Alyce Mae (Allen) Beeck, Johnsonville, Mrs. Sandra (Dean) Hei, School Hill; 16 grandchilden; 10 great grandchildne; one brohter, Ervin, Sheboygan, one sister-in-law, Freida Truttschel, Sheboygan.
He was preceded in death by a brother

Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran Church in Louis Corners, with the Rev James Bartz officiating Burial will be in the church cemetery. Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home of Kiel is assisting the family.
A memorial will be established in his name.
