Rosalie S. Valleskey, 87, of Kiel, died Monday, March 6, 2000 at her home.

Rosalie is the former Rosalie Bleck born April 15, 1912, in Valders, daughter of the late Edward and August Peters Bleck. She was a 1930 graduate of Valders High School.
On June 16, 1932 she married Adonis Valleskey in Valders. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1955. Prior to retirement Rosalie worked for many years at Lake-to-Lake, Kiel.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, the Ladies Aid and was a former member of the Manitowoc County Homemakers.

Rosalie loved to cook and was especially fond of gardening, where she took extra special care of her roses.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Ruth Valleskey, New Holstein; one son, David (Barbara) Valleskey, New Holstein; one daughter, Valonn (Joseph) Lettenberger, Green Lake; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her son, Valgene Valleskey, two brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2000 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, Louis Corners, with the Rev. Ted Olsen, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the CHURCH on Thursday from 10;30 a.m. until the time of services. The Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home of Kiel is assisting the family.
