ANTONIE VOIGT

Death claimed Mrs. Theodore Voigt of the town of Schleswig on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. A Caesarian operation had been preformed on her last week Wednesday in an effort to save her life and that of her unborn child, and her chances to survive seemed good. Later, however, her conditon became critical, and on Sunday morning she breathed her last. Antonie Loos was born near Louis Corners, November 3d, 1878, where she grew to womanhood. On June 26, 1902, she was united in marriage to Theodore Voigt, and the couple settled on a farm in the town of Schleswig. Besides her grief-stricken husband she leaves three daughters, Leona, Verna and Luella, and the little baby boy; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Loos Sr., of Millhome. Mrs. Voigt was a loving and devoted wife and mother, giving her entire attention to the welfare of her family and sparing herself nothing that would add to their comfort. She was a generous hearted woman and a kind neighbor, winning the love and esteem of a large circle of friends, who deeply regret her demise. The funeral was held Wednesday, Rev. Kuether of the Louis Corners church officiating, and was very largely attended.
Interment was in the church cemetery. - September 23, 1920
