Alice Louise Beebe 89, of Wamego,KS, died Wednesday, January 25,2006 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
She was born on March 9, 1916 at Westmoreland, KS, the daughter of William and Anna Brunkow Eichem.
She attended a country school between Westmoreland and Louisville. She worked at helping families with childcare and housecleaning for several years.
She then worked as a homemaker, raising her children and caring for her family. After her children were grown, she went to work at St. Mary's Hosptial in Manhattan, KS in the laundry department for more then twenty years. She enjoyed bingo and playing cards with friends and crafts.
Alice married Earl W Beebe on July 22, 1938 at Westmoreland, KS. He preceeded her in death on January 21,1990.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers Andy,Lawrence and Lloyd Eichem.
Mrs. Beebe is survived by two daughters Barbara Bradley, Wakarusa, KS and Wanda McGinnis Chambersberg, Pennsylvania,four grandchildren Jerry Riniker, Janet Riniker,Craig and Ryan McGinnis and two great-grandchildren Heather and Melanie Riniker.
