10/18/1921 (Tuesday) Riely Funeral To Be Held Tuesday
Mrs. Harriett Angeline Riely, of 117 W. 9th street, mother of Dr. Lea A. Riely, died suddenly at her home about 10 o'clock Monday night of heart disease. Mrs. Riely had been in good health during the day, but was stricken suddenly and died within a short time. She was 81 years old and had been a resident of Oklahoma City for the last twenty years, coming here from Indiana. During her residence in Oklahoma City, she had been a member of the First Presbyterian church and was an active member of church societies.
Funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The body will be taken to Corydon, Indiana, former home of Mrs. Riely, for burial. Doctor and Mrs. Riely and Stoy Riely will accompany the body to Indiana.
Mrs. Riely was a friend of Mrs. J.F. Warren, whose death also occurred Monday night, a short time before Mrs. Riely was stricken. Doctor Riely was in attendance at the bedside of Mrs. Warren when he received word of the serious illness of his mother and arrived at her home only a few moments before her death.
