On Wednesday in Little Cedar church, Rev. Rasmussen officiating, Mr. Nicolia Martinsen and Miss Juella Shaw and Mr. John Wiste and Miss Jonettie Shaw were united in marriage. The brides are sisters and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Shaw, who reside north of town. Both the young men are industrious and energetic farmers. A reception was held at the home of the brides' parents immediately after the ceremony.

As found on his death certificate, John Viste died of a cerebral thrombosis and his body was cremated. No mention of any cemetery.
