Death Takes W. J. Brogan

Richmond District Man Succumbs to Pneumonia Attack

Funeral services for W. J. Brogan, 66, of New, Richmond district, who died at his home at 1:40 after a brief attack of pneumonia, will be conducted from the residence tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock, burial following in the Goodson cemetery nearby. The Rev. John Garten will officiate at the services. The Beckley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brogan, a farmer, had resided for many years in Raleigh county, although he was a native of Virginia. Surviving him are five children, four daughters and one son. The daughters are Mrs. Estil Thompson of Lanark, Mrs. Willie Synder and Laura Brogan, both of Lester, and Mrs. Reba Bennett, of New. The son, George Brogan resides at Chillicothe, Ohio.
