Evelyn M. Barnum, 78, of Liverpool, passed away Sunday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. She was a native of Syracuse and was a wonderful loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry W., in 1999. Survivors: daughters, Joanne (Thomas) Simmons of N. Syracuse, Karen (Rocky Scarcella) O'Toole of Liverpool and Kathleen (Patrick) Sullivan of Pennellville; a son, John Barnum of FL; a sister, Mary Korb of FL; a brother, Robert Powers of Camillus; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Burial: Riverview Cemetery. Contributions: Lori Sullivan Memorial Foundation, c/o Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, 750 E.
