Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Bedeian Beardsley; sister, Delores Timmerman; children, Marta Droddy of Frederick, MD and Jodi Boersig of Mt Airy, MD; grandchildren, Daniel (Melissa) Droddy, Sarah, Meghan and Hayley Boersig and great-grandson, Peyton Droddy. After graduating from United Township High School, he earned a Bachelors Degree in engineering from Bradley University, was awarded a Masters Degree in engineering from the University of Illinois, was a 22 year, U.S. Air Force veteran of C7 Caribou Vietnam earning a Silver Star, Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He retired as an engineer for ACF Industries and Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach is serving the family.
