LESTER M ALEXANDER: 81; formerly New Castle-Phoenix AZ, died Monday [3-01] in StJoseph's Hosp. He was born 20 Apr 1900 in NewCastle, a son of Matthew & Ada Blaine Alexander; who graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a degree in business administration & was a retired accountant for KoppersCo-Pittsburgh. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity & Central United Methodist Church; he came to Phoenix in 1969
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret McCaskey. Also surviving are 2 sis: Ethel (sp-Victor) Patterson; Marg't (sp-Fred) Haltnorth-both NewCastle. He was preceded in death by 4 bros & a sis.
Service will be Friday afternoon [3-5] in Cen-tral United Methodist Church-AL Moore & Sons Mortuary made arrangements.
