DELAVAN — Dorothy Margaret Mary Cummings, age 85, of 325 Tyrrell Court, Delavan, died at Wlllowfleld Nursing Home on Monday, October 5, 1992, after a short Illness. She was born on April 16, 1907, In Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of George and Alice (McGuire) Franck. She married Grant Cummings on November 25, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. She and her husband Grant co-owned and operated "Grants Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant" at Delavan Lake for many years. Grant preceded her in death on August 25, 1965. Dorothy was also a professional seamstress and a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church. She is survived by two sons, Grant (Lois) Cummings of Phoenix, Arizona, and Robert (Sally) Cummings of Madison; a daughter, Kathleen
Peter of Gurnee, Illinois; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard (Marion) Franck of Minocqua, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 1992, at ST. ANDREWS CATHOLIC CHURCH, with the Reverend Joseph Debski officiating.
Burial will be In the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9, at the BETZER FUNERAL HOME where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to
