David William Watkins, age 38, died Dec. 27, 2003, at his home in Olathe. He was born in Fort Scott on May 23, 1965, the son of Bill C. Watkins and Mina (Wilhelmina) Watkins.
He graduated from Fort Scott High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in human resource management from Friends University in 1991. H was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his mother, Mina Watkins, of the home; one son, Joshua Tyler Watkins.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Scharnhorst; and his father, Bill C. Watkins.
A graveside memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
