Funeral services for George Ballard, 68, of the Kelso community who died in the Lincoln County Hospital March 28 after a long illness, were held last Friday afternoon in the chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with Rev. R. D. Caldwell and Rev. Bledsoe officiating. Burial was in the Kelso Cemetery.
Mr. Ballard was a native of Moore County, the son of the late Samuel Claude and Mollie Quaries Ballard.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Jesse Keller of Franklin County, two brothers, Claude Ballard of Lincoln County and Jim Ballard of Franklin County.
