James Meehan died on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the home of John Horan, aged 27 years. Death came suddenly, as a result of diabetes. Mr. Meehan was born in Milan and was never married. He leaves a brother, Joseph Meehan, and two married sisters. Only last Friday the deceased was attending to business in Reynolds and no one expected the end was so near. He was a member of Viola Camp, M. W. A., and carried a certificate of $2,000. The funeral was held Friday, at 8 a.m., Father Quiltie, of Keithsburg, officiating. - Reynolds Press.
