Armildred Jane McComas was the daughter of Israel McComas b. 19 June 1839 Cabell Co VA d. 12 May 1914 KS and his first wife Nancy Jane Elizabeth Horn b. 13 Sept 1838 d. 5 Oct 1864. Israel and his wife married 14 Mar 1861 in Jackson Co KS and they, along with his 2nd wife Martha E. Johnson are all buried in Circleville Cemetery, Jackson Co KS. Their daughter Armildred Jane McComas was the granddaughter of Sanders W. McComas born 20 Jan 1814 Cabell Co WV d. 23 June 1876 KS and his first wife Laura Mary Heath (1815-1847), great-granddaughter of Israel Heath and Elizabeth Blue. Armildred McComas married on 29 Aug 1880 in Circleville, Jackson Co KS, Lyman Allard b. 4 Apr 1859 IL, the son of Daniel Allard b. 22 Oct 1821 Morgan OH d. 1 Aug 1882 Ontario, Nemaha, KS and his first wife Susannah Swope. Daniel Allard is buried in Ontario Cemetery, Ontario KS. with 2nd wife Ruth Goode Allard. Armildred (McComas) Allard and Lyman Allard moved into Canadian Co OK by April 1894 when their son Israel B Allard was born.

A telegram received Sunday morning announced the death of Mrs. Lyman Allard of Yukon, Okla. Mrs. Allard was stricken with apoplexy December 26, and died Sunday, January 9. Mrs. Allard was a daughter of the late I. McComas. Mrs. N. E. Neiswander of Topeka, a sister, was at her bedside during her sickness. A. E. Neiswander, Mrs. Geo. Allen, Mrs. R. S. Murray and Miss Kate McComas left Sunday for the Allard home.

Armildred Jane McComas, the eldest daughter of Israel and Nancy McComas, was born May 24, 1862, at Circleville, Jackson county, Kansas, at which place she grew to womanhood. She departed from this life Sunday, January 9, 1921, at her home in the west point neighborhood, after suffering two weeks from paralysis. In August, 1880, she was married to Lyman Allard, and to this union six children were born: C. C. Allard, of Grandfield, Okla.; Mrs. C. E. Bross, of El Reno, Okla.; Mrs. A. T. Little, of Yukon, Okla.; and Israel, Mildred and Ethel, who are still at home. Mrs. Allard leaves to mourn her loss a husband, six children, seven grandchildren, one brother and seven sisters. Mrs. Allard came to Oklahoma in 1890 with her family, and has lived in Canadian county continuously since ... member of the West Point Christian church ...
