Mr. Webb was born November 15, 1885 in Whitewater. He came to Superior with his family in 1889 making his residence here ever since.
For many years he was in the real estate and loan business with his father, W. H. Webb. Later he took over an auto agency and built the building which faces Ogden Avenue between Fifteenth and Fourteenth Streets.
For three years, Mr. Webb and his father made abstracts for Douglas County as the Wisconsin Abstract Company.
Mr. Webb was a member of Superior Lodge No. 236, F, and A. M. and past exaled ruler of the local lodge of Elks.
Active in civic and business enterprises, Mr. Webb was a charter member of the local Rotary Club. He was a graduate of the Teacher College and the University of Wisconsin.
Survivors are his wife, Nell; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Dugan, Chicago, Ruth and Ann of Superior; his father; a sister, Mrs. Lilly Langley of Madison; his uncle Richard Webb of Superior; and a nephew, Thorpe Langley, instructor at the Teachers College.
