William H. Rebbec, 94, of Bartonville, Ill., passed away on Friday, May 14, 2010, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria, Ill.
William was born Oct. 2, 1915, in Peoria, Ill., to Micheal H. "Mike" and Rozena E. Freres Rebbec. William married Olive Pruden on July 7, 1962, at the Bartonville Methodist Church. She survives in Bartonville, Ill.
Also surviving are his stepson, Gary Pruden of Glasford, Ill.; a granddaughter, Taryn Hazell of Bartonville, Ill.; two brothers, Robert Rebbec of Arizona and Roger Rebbec of Bartonville, Ill.; and his sister, Marie Schriner of Bartonville, Ill. William was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Edward Rebbec.
William retired from Keystone Steel & Wire Co. in Bartonville. During the 1960s, he served as a chief magistrate in the Bartonville and Peoria area.
Interment will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
