Eunie Mae Musick, sixth child of Missouri Brown and John James (JJ) Musick, was born in Kingsland, Georgia. She met Tom Blazzard at church while he was serving in the Southern States LDS mission. They corresponded after he returned home and decided to marry. She rode the train out west to the southern Utah desert where she lived the rest of her life.

Their first child, Ruth Maurine, tragically died at the age of 6 weeks. They had 4 more daughters: Hazel Kathleen, Juanita Bernice, Ione M, Georgia Rose and one son: James Thomas. Tom died in 1957.

Eunie was a dedicated worker at the St. George Temple. Henry Nelson was also recently widowed and they enjoyed working together.
